It's classic and elegant. A picture of poise and romance, join us to learn how to Waltz! BPG welcomes campus and the community to a FREE beginner Cha Cha lesson at 7pm followed by social dancing (mix of all styles) from 8-10:30pm. $3 for UGA students and $5 general admission. Thinking about auditioning for The Ballroom Performance Group? This is the second of three styles in our auditions series! If you are interested in being a group member, join us to learn Cha Cha, Waltz, and East Coast Swing before auditions on November 15th.

No previous dance experience or partner required! In fact, we rotate partners during the lesson so you can dance with different people! Athens community members are always welcomed. Invite your friends and join us for an awesome time learning to Waltz.

Dressy casual attire is recommended. This typically includes collared shirts, slacks, skirts and dresses.

The lesson and dance will be held in the New Dance Theatre inside the UGA Department of Dance (across from Snelling Dining Commons) at 325 Sanford Drive Athens, GA 30602.

BPG hosts Friday Night Dance Parties every First and Third Friday of the month. Look out for our events, as we teach a different dance style every time!
