More About Me

Dance is a subject that Kailie has been in love with since she took her first dance class at the age of three. As a principal dancer in The Nutcracker Dublin, Georgia, Kailie has been featured in advertisements in Women's Day, Southern Living, and Redbook magazines. She has also had the pleasure of dancing as entertainment inside Disney World Orlando’s Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom as a National Dancer of the Year Semi-Finalist, as well as on the Royal Caribbean cruise ship the Enchantment of the Seas with the Stars at Sea program. It was in a Pas de Deux class in the University of Georgia Department of Dance that Kailie learned about the Ballroom Performance Group - two days before the audition would take place. Inspired by her love of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, Kailie quickly learned the basic steps that she needed to audition for the group. Prior to her Spring 2015 audition, ‘that little ballerina girl’, as many called her, was accepted to the group! Being a part of Ballroom Performance Group has easily become her favorite experience at the University of Georgia. Kailie hopes to one day dance professionally and teach performing arts dance in a school or dance studio!

When not on the dance floor, Kailie spends her summers working at Rock Eagle 4-H Center, as a 4-H Camp Counselor. Kailie also loves spending time with her mom and her little sister, fellow dancer, Karley Sanders.
