I figure skated for 10 years before moving here for college. There is a shortage of ice in Georgia, however, so I turned to ballroom dance to fill the void. I began ballroom dancing spring semester of freshman year with the Ballroom Dance Club at UGA and instantly fell in love.
West Coast Swing, Argentine Tango, and Waltz
More About Me
I chose the University of Georgia for the Portuguese Flagship Program and climate and have loved every second of my time here. I will eventually spend one full year in Brazil with the goal of becoming fluent in Portuguese. In addition to ballroom, I am a member of the Waterski Team, Student Government Association and Inspire UGA. I spend my summers in Minnesota running day camp programs for children 4-12 years old.
