WHEN ARE AUDITIONS?

BPG auditions occur at the end of every Fall and Spring semester. For exact dates and times be sure to follow our social media for updates.

How much experience do I need?

Our auditionees are expected to be proficient in the styles of waltz, east coast swing, and cha cha as well as be able to perform each with a partner.

How can I prepare?

In order to best prepare, we suggest taking Ballroom I and/or Ballroom II classes offered at the University of Georgia through the Dance Department. BPG also hosts an audition workshop every year, going over specific vocabulary needed for auditions.

Who Can audition?

BPG accepts anyone who is a student of UGA, undergraduate, graduate, PhD, or otherwise.
