Welcome back for the spring semester! BPG invites campus and the community to a FREE beginner Salsa lesson at 7pm followed by social dancing (mix of all styles) from 8-10:30pm. $3 for UGA students and $5 general admission.

No previous dance experience or partner required! In fact, we rotate partners during the lesson so you can dance with different people! Athens community members are always welcomed. Invite your friends and join us for an awesome time learning this sociable Latin dance.

Dressy casual attire is recommended. This typically includes collared shirts, slacks, skirts and dresses.

The lesson and dance will be held in the New Dance Theatre inside the UGA Department of Dance (across from Snelling Dining Commons) at 325 Sanford Drive Athens, GA 30602.

UGA Ballroom Performance Group hosts Friday Night Dance Parties every First and Third Friday of the month. Look out for our events, as we teach a different dance style every time! However, with our showcase, Ballroom Magic 2018 on the 18th, 19th, and 20th, this will be our only FNDP for January, so be sure to dance with us while you can and check out the show.
